Reservations
- All reservations must be guaranteed with a valid credit card.
- A deposit of 50% will be required on all reservations at the time of reservation.
- The balance of reservation amount is due upon check-in. We accept the following methods of payment: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, Diner's Club, Debit card, personal check and cash. All room rates are subject to Vermont Rooms Tax of 9%.
- Check-in time is between 3 p.m. and 8 p.m. If you anticipate arriving after 8 p.m., please let us know.
- Check-out time is 11 a.m.
Cancellation Policy
- Maplewood Inn is a small facility and is therefore significantly impacted by cancellations. Once we reserve your room(s), we remove it from the market so that it is not available to other guests. Our policy is intended to be fair to our guests yet mitigate the loss of income.

A $25 administrative fee is charged for all cancellations. The deposit, less the administrative fee, will be refunded if reservation is cancelled prior to seven days before the first day of reservation. The deposit will not be refunded for any cancellation, for any reason, less than seven days before the first day of reservation.
- Reservation of entire inn, holiday stays, and fall foliage period
The deposit, less the administrative fee, will be refunded if reservation is cancelled at least two months prior to date of arrival. The deposit will not be refunded for any cancellation, for any reason, less than two months before the first day of reservation. We cannot be responsible for travel delays, health issues, inclement weather, or early departures.
- Cancellations via Email are not acceptable - you must call the Inn to cancel and we will provide you with a confirmation of the cancellation. No-shows will be charged for the entire amount of the stay.
Pet Policy
- Well behaved dogs (Max. 2) are welcome in our Patio room and must enter and exit through private outside entrance. Guests will be responsible for any damage caused by pets. Pet fee, $20 per night.
Smoking Policy
- The Maplewood Inn is a smoke-free facility. Guests are welcome to smoke on the front porch, or anywhere at the front or back of the Inn.
Miscellaneous:
- Portable beds (single and full) are available for additional persons in room. Guest must reserve portable beds at time reservation is made.
- Gift certificates are available.
